hurricane festival
from david gill:
they came on at 10:20, stuart was wearing a red baseball cap and a combat top. he looked like the fella from grandaddy.
'ratts' was stunning, the best song i heard all weekend, althought 'where is my mind' and 'ziggy stardust' ran it close. stuart's comments on the official site about idiocy might refer to 'helicon 1', the timing was a bit off it seemed, but i know nothing about music so i might be totally wrong. barry laughed a lot and was jumping from his guitar to the laptop like a madman throughout. 'my father my king' was blistering, stuart snapped two strings, and at the end, he hung his guitar on the mike stand before he messed about with the pedals and created general mayhem. he was also singing into the noise, john was there at the end too...straight over to bowie when they finished, a great night...
