    reviews/comments

    from joe roth:

i was disappointed too that they only played 4 songs. but hell, there were 5 bands on the bill and i guess time didn't allow for them to play longer. like herod - play another damn song already. the 'gwai are slowly becoming predictable which might not bode well for them.

    from steven:

i too was at the show and to be honest it sucked. the sound sucked, the bands pretty much sucked. yes and this includes mogwai. the band sort of seemed like they were trying to slide by on their reputation. i give the band a little slack knowing that they flew in for the show, but not too much.

    from melissa at matador:

during "like herod," in the quiet lull before the song explodes: a hush falls over every one in anticipation and some kid brillantly yells "stuart, don't do it!" stuart lost it, almost dropped the ball on the whole song because he was laughing so hard.
