from james g:
great gig, all round good night. i had a great night, three great bands.
errors were on first, and were only on for about twenty minutes, due to technical problems during soundcheck which meant everything was running late. fuck buttons were up next, and a lot of people seem not to like them, but i think they were great, and thought they sounded great. although i'll agree that their performance was a little disjointed last night, but bearing in mind they didn't get the chance to do a soundcheck..
mogwai were pretty good; it was a similar set to the previous one this year in scotland at the triptych festival, so no big surprises for anyone who had attended that. although the new material sounded a bit more polished now, and no doubt will be down by the end of this tour. the band playing with a rather screen behind them, which did some basic visuals, but really came to life during batcat, with the animated video playing to accompany the band, which was a sight to behold.
from 'gwaion45':
it was definitely a great night! the new songs were immense, great to see some older ones too, herod, xmas steps, stanley kubrick and helicon 1!! errors and f*ck buttons were excellent.
