'ithica' felt a teaser before the "quiet" part of the show that really kicked off with the always amazing 'ratts of the capital'. john was on bass for the first song and dominic on guitar. '2 rights make 1 wrong' was played directly at the end of 'we're no here', what a brillant transition. there also was a new ending for '2 rights' (or so i felt like it) which worked really well. it was a real nice surprise to have 'mfmk' as an encore, even though it was a bit short (clocking in at under 25 minutes). this is probably the least noisy mogwai show i've ever seen (though it didn't feel like an unplugged or something). i felt the sound was a bit confused in the mix during the heavy parts.

before 'travel is dangerous', barry anounced that scotland was gonna beat france today... he proved to be right. and stuart has indeed a very amusing way of pronouncing "zidane". all in all the show wasn't a let down, as always with the band.
