    From Alain:

i just flew from vientiane lao pdr for bkk, so happy to see mogwai this year, last time was in nice in march. had a talk with stuart and martin, and i said "hope to see you in asia, specially in bangkok". amazing but a few mogwai fans in thailand did a miracle.

moonstar studio is quite far from downtown, nearly die behind a mototaxi to get there.

toe, a japanese band, failed to impress me, quite difficult to remember one melody. moderndog is a thai band, and it was a good pop rock band.

at 11pm, mogwai came on stage and begin with white noise, and the audience seems to enjoy ithica. the setlist was different and putting mexican gp, and lionel richie in the middle of the list, looks like they shortened the arrangements, the sound was really good, and the guys played louder and louder.

2 guys jumped on the stage near barry, but everything was cool. thai audience seems to enjoy helicon and 2 rights, but the best has to come. they finished the set with batcat, so loud but so good. the encore was only 2 songs to finish with mogwai fear satan, and at the end of the song, barry left followed by dominic and martin, just john and stuart stayed for 10 min of noisy effects that left the audience dead on their knees! it was a great show, very loud, and the audience was fantastic.

before the show i was asked by thai fans, "why do i like mogwai?" well difficult to explain in a few words but i said "just listen their music". after the show, they came to me and said "we understand now". thanks guys for the show and thai fans that made it possible.
